Book Your Perfect & Power Start (Your first 15 or 30 faces!)
1. A Perfect Start is booking your first 8 appointments, and then holding 5 of them! When you book (schedule) your first 8 appointments in a week's time (not HOLD 8 appointments in a week's time, you just sat down and SCHEDULED them to be held in the future) and you text your list to Lauren - win your money bag!
2. So, grab a calendar and mark off 8 two hour windows you are free to hold appointments. It can be three on one day, two on another and three on another. However it works out for you. You can also use the Mary Kay Weekly Plan Sheet!

Hi Katie! How are you? Okay, random question, so I am now a Mary Kay beauty consultant and part of my training is to give 30 women a free facial in my first month. Basically you get a satin hands treatment, an anti-aging facial plus expert foundation matching. Any chance you could be one of my 30 faces?
When they respond, "Yes..what is it?"
You say, "Great! We pick a one hour window that works best for you. I have an opening on Thursday at 6:30pm or Saturday at 11am. What's better for you?” (only give two options) You nail down a date, EVEN if it’s tentative.
You then say this, "Okay you are confirmed as one of my 30 pampering sessions this month on Saturday at 3pm. YOU ROCK! Thank you!! Oh...and you can totally invite a few friends to join you (it would help me get to 30 faster too) and I'll totally hook you up with free products for doing that. Whatcha think...got anyone that might want a free facial too?
For the location, if you prefer to travel to her, you just add in, "...and I travel to you."
If you prefer she travels to your home, you just add in, "...and I do them at my home studio in Anytown. "

Learn to Share the Mary Kay Opportunity - Pearls of Sharing
As part of your basic training, you earn a Pearl Jewelry Set for completing 6 sharing opportunities with Lauren in the first 30 days of your business.
To schedule this, you pick 6 of the sharpest women (over 18) you know to give their feedback on the Mary Kay opportunity.
1. Let them try the products first. We share with women who have familiarity with Mary Kay products.
2. Ask them this by text or phone: "Hi Sarah! With my new Mary Kay venture, I need to practice sharing the Mary Kay opportunity with 6 of the sharpest women I know to get their feedback. Even if you aren't interested, it's okay! Any chance you could donate 20 minutes of time to give feedback on our company information?"
3. Discuss with Lauren if you will hold these appointments in person at a coffee shop or over the phone. In person is preferred, but if you are out of state, we also do over the phone or Facetime. :)
4. Book the time. If over the phone, it's helpful to choose two times that work for her, and text Lauren both. She will make one work.
5. Before we chat with her, message her this, "Oh and before we meet can you watch a quick video for background info? You get a free gift for listening before we chat. Thanks!" *Text Lauren or your recruiter for YouTube video ideas*
Once you have held 6 Practice Sharing Appointments completed, you will receive a Mary Kay Pearl Earrings & Bracelet Set. When you add your first new qualified team member, receive the Pearl Necklace.
